Aguardem!

One more tale from the seashore….

Today we had to wake up earlier than usual! At 7.30h Graça had to be in front of the Cathedral in Funchal. António Augusto ( our partner in this business of finding people who lived in Santa Maria) was already waiting for them and together they went to Vera Cruz ( local bar) where a man – called Anão ( dwarf) was waiting for them.

We are not going to tell the entire story …. not today, sorry… but we do have to share the enthusiasm and cheeriness of  Duílio José Lomelino who during many years was THE KING OF DIVING and who shared his life story with us … and who during our conversation, suddenly started to speak in English …. explaining that -  yes, everybody spoke English at the seashore in Almirante Reis.

Don’t miss it!
